How accurate is the Mevo?
The Mevo uses the same Doppler radar technology as all the FlightScope launch monitors. These doppler radar-based systems have proven to be the most accurate of all golf simulators.
What data does the Mevo capture?
The Mevo offers eight performance data parameters compared to 16 on the Mevo+
FlightScope’s free Mevo mobile app allows users to receive real-time performance data during your practice sessions and automatically saves results for review at a later time.
Mevo can be used indoors and outdoors ensuring that you can practice with a purpose no matter the conditions. The space requirements for indoors is 2.4m of ball flight and 1.2-2.1m behind the impact. In total, you will need up to 4.5m of space. Metallic stickers are needed in an indoor environment in order for the Mevo to accurately measure ball spin.
How much space do I need for the Mevo?
The Mevo does not give shot shape and can not be used for golf simulation play.
What's the difference between the Mevo+ and the Mevo?
The Mevo only offers eight performance data parameters compared to 16 on the Mevo+. Additionally, the Mevo+ includes an iOS simulation software package. The iOS package includes ownership of five simulated golf courses including Aviara, Stone Canyon, Wade Hampton, Sanctuary and the Belfry as well as 17 practice ranges, a darts mini-game and online events. It also has an internal camera for target alignment and a Wi-Fi hotspot for a more reliable connection. The Mevo is a much smaller unit, however, they are both portable units.
The Mevo does not give shot shape, but the Mevo+
does which is why it can be used for golf simulation play.
There are absolutely no ongoing costs for the Mevo once you have purchased it, that’s it. Other simulator brands charge an ongoing fee.

Is the Mevo portable?
Yes. It is the most portable launch monitor on the market. It weighs under 200 grams and is pocket size (approximately 9cm x 7cm x 3cm).
It works with later model iOS devices (iPad and iPhone) and the FlightScope apps work on newer Android devices.
It has its own battery source. The battery life is up to four hours on a full charge, but it will power off automatically after 3-5 minutes of no use.
